Name:
M.A. Toivonen
Dot-job:
Illustrator / 2D artist / Character designer
Biography:
M.A. Toivonen (birth est. 1983-) was found by a group of daring explorers deep in the midst of a South American rain forrest. He was dirty and unruly, but generally at good spirits, so naturally he was promptly brought back to civilisation. Despite having spent his early years among a flock of chimpanzees, M.A. was soon able to become accustomed to the ways of man. When he, for example, learned that throwing feces was not socially acceptable, M.A. turned his primal urges towards creating what he would refer to as "art". That is also where we find him today, lumping over his desk, trying to make sense of the magical stick that leaves marks on the big, white sheets.
Godspeed to you, M.A.!

Biography:
Nilsen Filc (birth est. 1978-) started to code puzzle games aged 14. His interest in multi-player programming began in 1996, when he began the "2ice server" project, a multi-player game server coded in C aimed towards an existing online tetris-like game client, "Tetrinet". The project imposed itself as a reference among the multi-player servers, thanks to its innovations in capabilities and interactions between users. It is known as "Downstack" and "Tetrifast" (the 2ice dual server). 2iceMP was launched in late 2000. It was at that time the first framework featuring a real time multi-player tetris like game. Other games, such as Othello, Chess, or tools, like a shared drawing tool, were added. Nilsen was approached by Ankama Studio (dofus.com) in 2003, by Sony Ericsson the following year.
